UPDATED AUGUST 2026 · ALL FOUR JUST LAUNCHED

The new hearing aids of 2026 are here.

You finally decided to deal with your hearing. Then four manufacturers moved the goalposts in one month. Phonak, Oticon, Signia and ReSound each launched a fresh line, and every one of them leads with AI. None of them means the same thing by it. Here is the useful version, and you can order all four from Injoy without setting foot in a clinic.

⚡ The short answer

Four platforms launched in August 2026, and they do not do the same thing. Phonak Audéo EON Sphere (three of the eight EON models) adds a second chip that does nothing but separate speech from noise. Oticon Reveal (four levels) runs two AI systems at once, one for speech and one for everything around it, so a restaurant still sounds like a restaurant. Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX keeps one chip and runs four neural networks on it, built for the table where everyone talks at once. ReSound Sensia (four levels) reads the room first, then aims four microphones where you turn your head before it touches the noise, in the smallest rechargeable shell of the four. All four are rechargeable, stream to iPhone and Android, and support Auracast™. At Injoy they start at $1,199 per device, ship pre-programmed to your hearing test in 3 to 5 days, and include a 60-day risk-free trial with unlimited support from licensed hearing care providers.

Four launches. Four different bets on AI.

Every launch this cycle uses the phrase artificial intelligence. Behind the phrase sit four different design choices. None of them is automatically better. They trade power against size, battery and price in different directions.

What did not change is the part people expect to change. Fitting still decides the outcome. A premium platform programmed to the wrong profile loses to a mid-tier device dialed in properly.

Better hearing is a process, not a switch. The first two weeks can feel a little bumpy while your brain catches up. That is normal, and it is temporary.

Built for the moments you've been missing

Spec sheets don't matter. Wednesday night dinners do. Here's where the 2026 technology actually shows up in your week.

Hearing Your Own Voice

The most common complaint about new hearing aids is how strange your own voice sounds. Signia's MaX gives own-voice processing its own neural network, so it sounds like you from the first day. No calibration appointment.

Phonak Audéo EON

Phonak split this launch in two, and the naming hides it. The EON Sphere runs two chips. The new ERA chip handles processing and connectivity. HYPERSONIC™ does nothing but real-time speech separation, and the E90 runs it at full strength. Phonak calls it Spheric Speech Clarity 3.0. We call it the restaurant fix, and Phonak publishes up to 38 hours of battery life, the longest figure of the four launches.

The EON R family runs the ERA chip alone. AutoSense OS™ AI 8.0 reads each environment and shifts settings without you touching anything. It is the lighter, less expensive half of the family, and it keeps Auracast, hands-free calling and the smaller body.

One difference is easy to miss and hard to undo. The Sphere models are not CROS compatible. Only the EON R models pair with the CROS EON transmitter. If you hear from one ear only, that single fact picks your half of the line.

Oticon Reveal

Oticon started somewhere unfashionable. Most makers treat background sound as a problem to remove. Oticon treats it as information you need. Reveal runs two AI systems at once. A Speech AI lifts the voices around you. A Context AI preserves the sound underneath them, so a restaurant still sounds like a restaurant rather than a voice floating in a void.

4D Sensor Technology reads head movement and surroundings, then shifts the balance as you turn. Every level gets the Dual AI platform, Auracast, a telecoil, Tap Control and 24-hour battery. The higher levels turn up the AI Voice Clarifier and add more of the 4D sensing.

The line numbers downward, which trips people up. Reveal 1 sits at the top and Reveal 4 at the entry point. Most people land well at the 2 and spend the difference elsewhere.

Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX

Signia went the other direction. A single new MaX chip carries four AI systems that work together, and no second chip does the heavy lifting. Each network has one job: finding speech, recognizing your own voice, reading the room, and handling noise. Signia calls the whole thing Acoustic Intelligence™.

The payoff is group conversation, the hardest listening situation there is. Signia reports 97% of wearers performed better in noisy group conversation than with key competitors, and ranked the MaX No. 1 for speech-to-noise performance in that setting. The new chip brings 54× the processing power of previous generations while using 50% less energy.

Signia publishes up to 30 hours without streaming. The portable charger holds four full charges, and thirty minutes on it returns about six hours of power. For a long travel day, that combination is hard to beat. Telecoil runs across the line and carries its own program, which matters if your church or theater still runs a loop.

Below the 7, the levels share almost everything. The real difference sits in bandwidth on the standard and medium receivers, so the step up buys you music and detail, not speech in noise.

New · August 2026 · Smallest Rechargeable

ReSound Sensia

ReSound went at it in a different order. Most platforms process the sound first and work out the situation afterwards. Sensia listens to the room before it decides what to do. An AcoustIQ™ classifier reads the environment in real time, four synchronized microphones aim a beam wherever you turn your head, and only then does the neural denoiser soften whatever is not the voice you came for.

What changes as you move up the range is not whether you get those parts. Every level has the classifier and the four-microphone beam. What you buy is how much the hearing aid decides for you. At Level 9 the sensing, the steering and the denoising run together and switch themselves on. At 7 you get the beamforming and denoising combination. At 5 and 4 you choose it yourself with a program.

It is also the smallest of the four. ReSound calls the microRIE the world's smallest AI rechargeable receiver-in-ear, and the shell is identical at every level, so the entry model is no bulkier than the flagship. Twenty-four hours on a charge including streaming, Auracast™ and Bluetooth LE Audio across the line, IP68 with nanocoating on every part. There is no telecoil anywhere in the range, which matters if your church or theater still runs a loop.

Match the model to your life

All four platforms are excellent. The honest answer to "which is better?" depends on where you struggle to hear. Start there.

Phonak EON Sphere 90

The dedicated HYPERSONIC chip exists for exactly this. Speech separation switches on automatically at full strength the moment a room gets loud, and Speech Enhancer catches the soft talker across the table.

Oticon Reveal 2

Reveal keeps the full sound scene alive while lifting speech, so the world never feels artificially quiet. The Reveal 2 keeps the flagship's 4D sensors at a friendlier price. Likely the year's most popular pick.

What you pay for, and what you don't

There are three ways to buy a new hearing aid, and they are not priced alike. A traditional clinic bundles the device with in-person care. For some people that is the right call. A bare-bones online seller cuts the price by dropping authorization, the warranty and the fitting. We sit in between, deliberately.

Injoy Hearing is an authorized online retailer for Phonak, Oticon, Signia, ReSound, Starkey, Widex and Sennheiser. Every device is genuine, manufacturer sealed, and ships with the full manufacturer warranty. Licensed hearing care providers program and fit each one. Our price runs thousands less than a traditional clinic, because no storefront and no waiting room sit inside it.

Nothing here requires a waiting room.

Share an audiogram from any licensed hearing professional, or take our free online screening. Our licensed hearing care providers program your devices to your profile before they ship. Once the package arrives, we fit and fine-tune them with you by phone or video. Adjustments stay unlimited for as long as you own the devices. No time limits, no session caps.

Every device carries a 60-day risk-free trial. If it is not right, send it back for a full refund with no restocking fees.

2026 hearing aids, answered

What are the new hearing aids for 2026?
Four major platforms launched in August 2026: the Phonak Audéo EON family (EON Sphere 90/70/50 with a dedicated HYPERSONIC AI chip, EON R 90/70/50/30, and CROS EON), the Oticon Reveal family (Reveal 1 to 4 plus the CROS RE transmitter), Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX, and the ReSound Sensia family (Sensia 9, 7, 5 and 4 in the microRIE shell). All are rechargeable receiver-in-canal designs with Bluetooth streaming for iPhone and Android, hands-free calling, and Auracast broadcast audio.
Which new hearing aid has the longest battery life?
Among these four launches, Phonak publishes the highest figure. The Audéo EON Sphere models reach up to 38 hours. Signia publishes up to 30 hours without streaming for the Pure Charge&Go MaX, and Oticon and ReSound both publish up to 24 hours for Reveal and Sensia. Real runtime shifts with streaming, hearing loss and active features.
Which 2026 hearing aid is best for noisy restaurants and groups?
For one-on-one across a loud table, the Phonak EON Sphere 90 has the most aggressive speech-from-noise separation, powered by its dedicated HYPERSONIC chip. For group conversation with several people talking, Signia MaX is purpose-built. It dedicates one of its four neural networks to tracking multiple speakers and ranked No. 1 for speech-to-noise performance in group settings.
Do all of the new platforms support Auracast?
Yes. Phonak EON, Oticon Reveal and Signia Pure Charge&Go MaX all support Auracast™ broadcast audio, the new Bluetooth standard that lets venues send sound straight to hearing devices. Airport gate announcements, theater dialogue and the TV at the gym arrive direct instead of echoing off walls. Venues are rolling it out now, so the hearing aids you buy today will not be obsolete when your local theater switches it on. You can also browse our Auracast-ready hearing aids.
Is a brand-new platform worth the extra money?
That depends on your week, not on the release calendar. A new platform earns its premium when you spend real time in loud rooms, and it earns it again in venues with broadcast audio. For quieter routines, a previous-generation premium device usually delivers the same everyday result for less. Our product specialists will tell you which one you are.
What is Signia's "Acoustic Intelligence" and the 4 DNNs?
Most hearing aids apply AI to one task, usually noise reduction. Signia's MaX platform runs four task-specific deep neural networks simultaneously: one detects and enhances speech from multiple people, one recognizes your own voice, one analyzes the environment, and one handles noise. Four AI systems run on one chip. Networks are not chips, so this is not a dual-chip design.
What does Oticon's "Dual AI" actually do?
Most hearing aids use one processor that has to choose between clarifying speech and preserving the environment. Reveal runs a Speech AI and a Context AI at the same time. One continuously enhances the voices around you, the other protects the background sounds that give your brain a sense of place. In Oticon's 2026 research, that produced a 60% stronger brain response than its previous flagship.
How much do the 2026 models cost?
At Injoy, the new 2026 lineup starts at $1,499 per device for the Signia Pure Charge&Go 5 MaX, with the Oticon Reveal line at $1,699 to $1,899 and the Phonak EON priced by model. That is typically 50 to 70% below clinic pricing, where these same devices are commonly quoted at $4,000 to $7,000 per pair. Every purchase includes a 60-day risk-free trial, a multi-year manufacturer's warranty, loss-and-damage coverage, and unlimited remote support from licensed hearing care providers.
Can I buy prescription hearing aids online without going to a clinic?
Yes. Send us an audiogram from an outside provider, or take our free 5-minute online screening. Our licensed hearing care providers then handle programming and fitting remotely, and your devices arrive in 3 to 5 days ready to wear. We are an online retailer rather than a clinic, so we do not perform diagnostic testing.
How long does it take to adjust to a new hearing aid?
Most people settle in over the first couple of weeks while the brain adapts. A Consumer Reports survey found about three in four members took less than a month. We keep adjusting the fit with you for as long as it takes.
What happens if the new model is not right for me?
Return it inside the 60-day window for a full refund with no restocking fees. Before you do, call us. Swapping to a different level or a different manufacturer solves the problem more often than sending everything back.
I have hearing in only one ear. Is there a 2026 option for me?
Both Phonak and Oticon launched CROS transmitters alongside the new lines. The Phonak CROS EON and Oticon CROS RE sit on your unaidable ear and stream sound wirelessly to a matching hearing aid on your better ear, so conversation no longer depends on where you sit. Note that the Phonak CROS EON pairs with the EON R models, not the Sphere models.

Talk it through before you choose.

Four launches in one month is a lot of noise for a personal decision. Specs matter less than the match, and the match is a conversation rather than a spreadsheet. Our hearing care experts have fit thousands of these devices, and they will know what suits your hearing and your life.

The hearing aids are identical to what any clinic sells. The professional care is identical. The price is not.
