5. Whistling Starts in Certain Positions

Hugging someone. Pulling on a hat. Turning your head toward a wall. Whistling that shows up only in those moments is feedback, and it has three usual causes.

  • Fit, meaning the dome or earmold leaks sound back to the microphone
  • Gain, meaning the system amplifies more than the seal can hold
